When I was in the music business I worked creatives every day. I quickly learned a couple of things: A) that they’re different than normal people (me). Sometimes there were little quirks and sometimes they saw the whole world differently. And B) that if you were gonna get great art from them you had to love and accept the whole person. I used to get asked all the time why I worked with such “unique” people and I said “You cannot expect unique art from normal people.” It was the perfect answer. It stuck. And thank the good Lord for all the unique people in the world!!!
